Noble County is in the state of Oklahoma’s north central region.
The population was 10,924 at the time of the 2020 census.
Perry is the county seat.
Until Oklahoma Territory was established in 1890, it was part of the Cherokee Outlet in Indian Territory, and the current county land was designated as County P.
When the United States government opened the area to non-Indian settlement in 1893, it was renamed Noble County after John Willock Noble, the Secretary of the Interior at the time.
The county has a total area of 743 square miles (1,920 km2), of which 732 square miles (1,900 km2) is land and 11 square miles (28 km2) (1.4%) is water, according to the United States Census Bureau.
