Lincoln County is a county in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is in the east central part of the state.

As of the census in 2020, there were 7,690 people living there.

Lincolnton is the county seat. On February 20, 1796, the county was made.

Lincoln County is part of the Augusta-Richmond County, GA-SC Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Its northeastern border is the Savannah River.

It is part of the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) and the CSRA Regional Development Center. It is above the fall line.

The U.S. Census Bureau says that the county is 257 square miles (670 km2) in size, with 210 square miles (540 km2) of land and 47 square miles (120 km2) of water, or 18.2%.

The county is in the Piedmont area of the state, which is just above the eastern United States’ fall line.
