Lemhi County is a county in Idaho, United States.
The population was 7,974 at the time of the 2020 census. Salmon is the county seat and the major city.
The county was named after Fort Lemhi (or Limhi), a remote Mormon missionary station in Bannock and Shoshone territory from 1855 to 1858.
The county has a total area of 4,569 square miles (11,830 km2), of which 4,563 square miles (11,820 km2) is land and 5.4 square miles (14 km2) (0.1%) is water, according to the United States Census Bureau.
