Juniata County is a county located in the state of Pennsylvania.

The population was 23,509 at the time of the 2020 census.

Mifflintown is the county seat.

On March 2, 1831, the county was formed from a portion of Mifflin County and named after the Juniata River.

The county has a total area of 394 square miles (1,020 km2), of which 391 square miles (1,010 km2) is land and 2.2 square miles (5.7 km2) (0.6%) is water, according to the United States Census Bureau.
