Hardin County is a county in the U.S. state of Ohio.
It is in the west central part of the state.
As of the census in 2020, there were 30,696 people living there.
Kenton is the county seat and biggest city.
The county was made in 1820, and in 1833 it was put together.
It is named after an officer in the American Revolution named John Hardin.
The U.S. Census Bureau says that the county has a total area of 471 square miles (1,220 km2), of which 470 square miles (1,200 km2) are land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2) (0.1%) are water.
