Granite County is a county in the state of Montana in the United States.

As of the census in 2020, there were 3,309 people living there.

Philipsburg is the county seat.

The county was started in 1893 and was named after a mountain that has a silver mine on it.

The US Census Bureau says that the county has a total area of 1,733 square miles (4,490 km2), of which 1,727 square miles (4,470 km2) are land and 5.6 square miles (15 km2) (0.3%) are water.
