Gooding County is a county in Idaho, United States.
The population was 15,464 at the time of the 2010 census. Gooding is the county seat.
On January 28, 1913, the Idaho Legislature founded the county by dividing Lincoln County.
It is named for Frank R. Gooding, Idaho’s 7th governor and United States Senator.
The county has a total area of 734 square miles (1,900 km2), of which 729 square miles (1,890 km2) is land and 4.7 square miles (12 km2) (0.6%) is water, according to the United States Census Bureau.
