Denali Borough is a borough in the American state of Alaska. The borough’s population was 1,619 as of the 2020 census, down from 1,826 in 2010.
Healy is the borough seat and the most populous community, and Anderson is the only incorporated place. The borough was established in December 1990.
The borough covers an area of 12,777 square miles (33,090 km2), of which 12,751 square miles (33,020 km2) is land and 26 square miles (67 km2) is water (0.2%).
The borough is named after North America’s highest point, Denali (formerly Mount McKinley), which stands 6,190.5 meters above sea level (20,310 ft).
