Onicha Towns And Villages

Onicha is a Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, Nigeria, roughly 30 kilometres west of Abakaliki. Its headquarters sits at Isu town. The 2006 census counted 236,609 residents; a 2022 projection puts the figure near 352,400. The area covers about 476 square kilometres.

Onicha is made up of six traditional areas: Isu, Oshiri, Onicha-Igboeze, Ukawu, Abaomege and Ishinkwo (the last carved out of Ukawu). The postal code is 491.
