Kuje Towns And Villages
Kuje is an area council in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, about 45 kilometres south of the city centre. It covers roughly 1,644 square kilometres and recorded a population of 97,367 at the 2006 census, projected to around 212,100 by 2022.
The area council holds ten wards: Kuje, Chibiri, Gaube, Kwaku, Kabi, Rubochi, Gwargwada, Gudun Karya, Kujekwa and Yenche. Kuje town, the council headquarters, sits at the centre with a four-day market trading fruit, grain, livestock and household goods.
