The county of Bell is in the American state of Texas.

It is in the middle of Texas, and Belton is the county seat.

As of the census in 2020, there were 370,647 people living there.

The Killeen–Temple, Texas, Metropolitan Statistical Area includes Bell County.

The county was started in 1850 and is named for Texas’s third governor, Peter Hansborough Bell.

In 2010, the most people lived in Bell County, which is close to the town of Holland.

The U.S. Census Bureau says that the county has a total area of 1,088 square miles (2,820 km2), of which 1,051 square miles (2,720 km2) are land and 37 square miles (96 km2) (3.4% of the total area) are water.
