Geography
The municipality wraps the Saldanha Bay peninsula and the Langebaan Lagoon on the Atlantic coast, with a low, dune-covered strandveld inland toward Vredenburg and Hopefield. It borders Bergrivier to the north and Swartland to the east and south, within the West Coast District.
