Fezile Dabi District Municipality is one of five districts in the Free State province of South Africa. It covers 20,668 km² and had a 2022 census population of 509,913, spread across four local municipalities. The seat is Sasolburg — also the district’s largest town and its industrial centre.
Fezile Dabi occupies the northern Free State, along the Vaal River border with Gauteng and Mpumalanga. It was established in 2000 as the Northern Free State District Municipality and renamed Fezile Dabi in 2005.

Geography
Fezile Dabi District runs along the Vaal River in the northern Free State, from the industrial belt around Sasolburg in the west to the farming country around Frankfort and Villiers in the east. The Vaal, Renoster and Vals rivers all cross the district, and the Vaal Dam forms part of its northeastern boundary near Villiers. It borders Sedibeng District in Gauteng and Gert Sibande District in Mpumalanga to the north, Thabo Mofutsanyana District to the east, Lejweleputswa District to the west, and Dr Kenneth Kaunda District in North West to the southwest.
