Windham County is a county in Connecticut, located in the state’s northeastern corner.

The population was 116,418 as of the 2020 census, making it Connecticut’s least populous county.

It is the focal point of the Quiet Corner region. Windham County is part of the Worcester, MA-CT MSA, which is also part of the Boston-Worcester-Providence, MA-RI-NH-CT Combined Statistical Area.

The National Park Service has designated the entire county as part of the Quinebaug and Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor.
