Teton County is a county in the state of Idaho in the United States.

As of the census in 2020, there were 11,630 people living there.

The county seat is in Driggs and Victor is the biggest city.

The Teton Mountains to the east inspired the name of the county, which was made in 1915.

The Jackson, WY-ID Micropolitan Statistical Area includes Teton County.

John Colter, a member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, found the Teton Valley in 1808. (1804–06). It became known as Pierre’s Hole, and the Battle of Pierre’s Hole happened there after the 1832 Rendezvous, which a lot of people went to.

The county has a total area of 451 square miles (1,170 km2), of which 449 square miles (1,160 km2) are land and 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2) (0.2%) are water, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

It has the second-smallest area of any county in Idaho.
