Towns and Villages in Kebena Special Woreda

Kebena Special Woreda (Amharic: ቀቤና ልዩ ወረዳ) is one of the special woredas in the Central Ethiopia Regional State of Ethiopia, with its administrative center in Wosherbe.

The district was named after the Kebena people.

The Wabe River, which separates this region from Kokir Ge, borders Kebena on the south.

Kebena shares a western border with Abeshge and a northern border with the Oromia Region.

According to the CSA’s 2008 Census, WOREDA had a total population of 68,577 people, with 36,551 men and 32,026 women.

Urban areas are home to 20% of the population.

The majority of Kebena residents identified as Muslims, with 99.87% claiming that faith, while 0.12% professed Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity and 0.01% were Protestants.
