Esan North-East Towns And Villages
Esan North-East is a Local Government Area in Edo State, Nigeria, headquartered jointly at Uromi and Uzea. The 2006 census counted 121,989 residents; the 2022 projection put the figure near 180,200. The LGA covers roughly 338 square kilometres.
Esan North-East holds eleven wards: Amedokhian, Arue, Efandion, Egbele, Ewoyi, Idumu-Okojie, Obeidu, Ubierumu, Uelen/Okugbe, Uwalor and Uzea. Uromi town itself is a conurbation of three traditional groups – Okhiode, Obiruan and Obiyon – each made up of several of the villages below.
