Ise/Orun Towns And Villages

Ise/Orun is a Local Government Area in Ekiti State, Nigeria, about 25 kilometres southeast of Ado-Ekiti. It has two headquarters towns, Ise-Ekiti and Orun-Ekiti, and covers roughly 432 square kilometres.

The 2006 census counted 113,754 residents. Ise-Ekiti itself sits in three quarters, Erinwa, Odo-Ise and Oraye, each with its own chief; Orun-Ekiti split off from neighbouring Igbemo-Ekiti and keeps its own ruling house. Farming and trading camps radiate out from both towns along the roads to Emure and Ilofa.
