Ideato North Towns And Villages
Ideato North is a Local Government Area in Imo State, Nigeria, formed in 1976 when the old Ideato Local Government split into Ideato North and Ideato South. Its headquarters sits at Urualla.
The 2006 census recorded a population of 156,161. Projections put the 2022 figure near 217,100. The LGA covers 14 wards, among them Akpulu, Osina, Isiokpo, Obodoukwu, Uzii/Umualoma, Ndimoko, Izuogu I, Izuogu II and Ndi Iheme Arondizuogu, the last home to villages of the Arondizuogu community.
