Lagelu Towns And Villages

Lagelu is a Local Government Area in Oyo State, Nigeria, on the northeastern edge of Ibadan. Its headquarters sits at Iyana Offa, off the Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode expressway. The area covers roughly 130 square kilometres of farmland and peri-urban settlement stretching from Akobo to Lalupon.

The 2006 census counted 148,133 residents. The 2022 projection put the figure near 211,700. Lagelu holds 14 registration wards, from Ajara/Opeodu in the west to Sagbe/Pabiekun in the east.
