Gadsden County is a county in Florida, United States, on the Georgia border in the Florida Panhandle. It had a population of 43,826 at the 2020 census and covers 529 square miles (1,370 km2) centred near 30\u00b035\u2032N 84\u00b037\u2032W.<\/p>\n
Quincy is the county seat; its postal code is 32351. The county has four incorporated cities, two towns, and a number of unincorporated communities, and it sits in the Eastern time zone. Gadsden is the only county in Florida where more than half of residents are African-American, a legacy of its 19th-century plantation and tobacco economy.<\/p>\n
