Pierce County is a county in Wisconsin, United States, on the state’s western edge where the St. Croix River meets the Mississippi River. It had a population of 42,212 at the 2020 census and covers 574 square miles (1,490 km2) of land, centred near 44\u00b043\u2032N 92\u00b025\u2032W.<\/p>\n

Ellsworth is the county seat, and its postal code is 54011. The county has two cities, six villages, and seventeen towns (townships), plus a scatter of unincorporated crossroads communities.
