Cowlitz County is a county in Washington, United States, on the north bank of the Columbia River where it meets the Cowlitz River. It had a population of 110,730 at the 2020 census and covers 1,166 square miles (3,020 km2), 1,140 of them land, centred near 46\u00b011\u2032N 122\u00b041\u2032W.<\/p>\n

Kelso is the county seat, and its postal code is 98626. The county has 5 incorporated cities and towns and about 20 recognized unincorporated communities, in the Pacific time zone. Cowlitz County has no civil townships.<\/p>\n
