Middlesex County is a county in Virginia, United States, in the eastern part of the state on the Middle Peninsula, bounded by the Rappahannock River to the north and the Chesapeake Bay to the east. It had a population of 10,625 at the 2020 census and covers 211 square miles (550 km2), of which 130 square miles are land and 80 square miles are water, centred near 37\u00b037\u2032N 76\u00b031\u2032W.<\/p>\n
