Jasper County is a county in Texas, United States, in the Deep East Texas piney-woods region near the Louisiana border. It had a population of 32,980 at the 2020 census and covers 970 square miles (2,500 km2), of which 939 square miles (2,430 km2) are land, centred near 30°44′N 94°02′W.<\/p>\n
