Glasscock County is a county in Texas, United States, on the Edwards Plateau’s northern edge west of San Angelo. It had a population of 1,116 at the 2020 census and covers 901 square miles (2,330 km2) centred near 31°52′N 101°32′W.<\/p>\n

Garden City is the county seat, and its postal code is 79739. The county has one incorporated community, one unincorporated community, and no organized civil townships (Texas counties do not use the township system). It sits in the Central time zone.<\/p>\n
