Bowie County is a county in Texas, United States, at the point where Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma meet — one of only three Texas counties that border another state. It had a population of 92,893 at the 2020 census and covers 923 square miles (2,390 km2) centred near 33°27′N 94°25′W.<\/p>\n

The Red River forms much of the county’s northern edge, and the Sulphur River crosses the southern part of the county before joining it.
