Gibson County is a county in Tennessee, United States, roughly halfway between Memphis and Nashville in the western part of the state. It had a population of 50,429 at the 2020 census and covers 603 square miles (1,560 km2) of land centred near 36°00′N 88°56′W.<\/p>\n

The county has six incorporated cities, four incorporated towns and a scatter of unincorporated communities, runs on Central time, and has no civil townships — local government functions instead run through five special school districts (Bradford, Gibson County, Humboldt, Milan and Trenton).<\/p>\n
