Forest County is a county in Pennsylvania, United States, along the upper Allegheny River in the Allegheny National Forest region. It had a population of 6,973 at the 2020 census and covers 430 square miles (1,100 km2) centred near 41°31′N 79°14′W.<\/p>\n

Tionesta is the county seat, and its postal code is 16353. The county has one borough, eight townships and a scatter of unincorporated communities and one census-designated place, and it observes Eastern time. Forest County is the least populous county in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n
