Washington County is a county in Oregon, United States, on the western edge of the Portland
\nmetropolitan area. It had a population of 600,372 at the 2020 census, an estimated 611,708 by
\n2025, and covers 724 square miles (1,880 km2) of land centred near 45\u00b034\u2032N 123\u00b005\u2032W.<\/p>\n

Hillsboro is the county seat and largest city; its postal code is 97123. The county holds 12
\nincorporated cities, 15 census-designated places and roughly 49 smaller unincorporated
\ncommunities, and it runs on Pacific Time. Its FIPS code is 41067.<\/p>\n
