Major County is a county in Oklahoma, United States, on the Great Salt Plains in the northwest part of the state. It had a population of 7,782 at the 2020 census and covers 958 square miles (2,480 km2), of which 955 square miles (2,470 km2) is land, centred near 36\u00b019\u2032N 98\u00b032\u2032W.<\/p>\n
