Kiowa County is a county in Oklahoma, United States, where the Washita Mountains rise out of the plains along the North Fork of the Red River. It had a population of 8,509 at the 2020 census and covers 1,031 square miles (2,670 km2) centred near 34°55′N 98°59′W, in the southwestern part of the state.<\/p>\n

Hobart is the county seat, and its postal code is 73651. The county has two cities, six incorporated towns, and a scatter of unincorporated communities. Kiowa County lies in the Central time zone.<\/p>\n
