Dewey County is a county in Oklahoma, United States, on the state’s western plains along the South Canadian and Canadian rivers. It had a population of 4,484 at the 2020 census and covers 999 square miles (2,590 km2) of land, centred near 35°59′N 99°00′W.<\/p>\n

Taloga is the county seat, and its postal code is 73667. The county has one city, six towns, one census-designated place, and a scatter of unincorporated communities, all within the Central time zone. Seiling, not the seat, is the county’s largest community.<\/p>\n
