Defiance County is a county in Ohio, United States, at the confluence of the Maumee, Auglaize and Tiffin rivers in the northwestern part of the state. It had a population of 38,286 at the 2020 census and covers 414 square miles (1,070 km2), of which 411 square miles (1,060 km2) is land, centred near 41\u00b019\u2032N 84\u00b029\u2032W.<\/p>\n

Defiance is the county seat and largest city; its postal code is 43512. The county has one city, three villages, several unincorporated communities and 12 civil townships. It runs on Eastern time and carries FIPS code 39039.<\/p>\n
