Allen County is a county in Ohio, United States, in the west-central part of the state, anchored by the city of Lima on the Ottawa River. It had a population of 102,206 at the 2020 census and covers 407 square miles (1,050 km2), of which 402 square miles are land, centred near 40°46′N 84°07′W.<\/p>\n

Lima is the county seat, and its postal code is 45801. The county has two cities, seven villages, and a handful of unincorporated communities, spread across 12 townships. It sits in the Eastern time zone, and its FIPS code is 39003.<\/p>\n
