Golden Valley County is a county in North Dakota, United States, on the Montana border along Interstate 94. It had a population of 1,736 at the 2020 census and covers 1,002 square miles (2,596 km2), of which 1,001 square miles (2,592 km2) are land and 1.6 square miles (4 km2) are water, centred near 46°56′N 103°51′W.<\/p>\n

Beach is the county seat, and its postal code is 58621. The county has three incorporated cities and seven other named unincorporated places, grouped into ten organized townships. Golden Valley County sits in the Mountain time zone.<\/p>\n
