Adams County is a county in North Dakota, United States, on the state’s southern border with South Dakota. It had a population of 2,200 at the 2020 census and covers 989 square miles (2,561 km2) centred near 46°06′N 102°32′W.<\/p>\n

The county has four incorporated cities — Bucyrus, Haynes, Hettinger and Reeder — plus a handful of unincorporated communities, spread across 17 organized townships.
