Eddy County is a county in New Mexico, United States, along the Texas state line at the southeastern corner of the state. It had a population of 62,314 at the 2020 census and covers 4,198 square miles (10,870 km2), of which 4,176 square miles (10,820 km2) are land, centred near 32°28′N 104°18′W.<\/p>\n

Carlsbad is the county seat, and its postal code is 88220. The county has two incorporated cities (Carlsbad and Artesia), two incorporated villages (Hope and Loving), and several unincorporated communities and census-designated places. Eddy County observes Mountain Time.<\/p>\n
