Teton County is a county in Montana, United States, where the Rocky Mountain Front meets the northern plains. It had a population of 6,226 at the 2020 census and covers 2,293 square miles (5,940 km2), of which 20 square miles (52 km2) is water, centred near 47\u00b051\u2032N 112\u00b014\u2032W.<\/p>\n

Choteau is the county seat, and its postal code is 59422. The county has one incorporated city, two incorporated towns, and six census-designated places, plus a number of small unincorporated communities. Teton County observes Mountain time and was organized in 1893.<\/p>\n
