Todd County is a county in Minnesota, United States, in the central part of the state. It had a population of 25,262 at the 2020 census and covers 980 square miles (2,500 km2) centred near 46°04′N 94°54′W.<\/p>\n

Long Prairie is the county seat, and its postal code is 56347. The county has 11 incorporated cities, 28 civil townships and three unincorporated communities, and observes Central time.<\/p>\n

Todd County’s 11 incorporated cities range from Long Prairie, the seat, to small farm towns of a few hundred residents. Two cities extend across a county line — Osakis into Douglas County and Staples into Wadena County — and a small edge of Morrison County’s Swanville reaches into Todd.
