Pipestone County is a county in Minnesota, United States, on the South Dakota border in the southwest corner of the state. It had a population of 9,424 at the 2020 census and covers 466 square miles (1,207 km2), of which 465 square miles (1,204 km2) are land, centred near 44°01′N 96°15′W.<\/p>\n

Pipestone is the county seat and its postal code is 56164. The county has seven cities, twelve organized townships and a handful of unincorporated communities. It sits in the Central time zone.<\/p>\n
