Lac qui Parle County is a county in Minnesota, United States, on the South Dakota border in the southwestern part of the state. It had a population of 6,719 at the 2020 census and covers 778 square miles (2,020 km2) of which 765 square miles (1,980 km2) are land, centred near 45°00′N 96°11′W.<\/p>\n

Madison is the county seat, and its postal code is 56256. The county has seven incorporated cities, five unincorporated communities, and 23 organized townships. It runs on Central time and was organized on March 6, 1871.<\/p>\n
