Douglas County is a county in Minnesota, United States, centred on the lake resort city of Alexandria in the west-central part of the state. It had a population of 39,006 at the 2020 census and covers 720 square miles (1,865 km2) — 637 square miles (1,650 km2) of land and 83 square miles (215 km2) of water — centred near 45°56′N 95°27′W.<\/p>\n
