Cottonwood County is a county in Minnesota, United States, on the flat farm country of the state’s southwestern prairie. It had a population of 11,517 at the 2020 census and covers 649 square miles (1,680 km2) — 639 square miles (1,660 km2) of land and 10 square miles (26 km2) of water — centred near 44°01′N 95°11′W.<\/p>\n
