Presque Isle County is a county in Michigan, United States, on the shore of Lake Huron in the northeastern Lower Peninsula. It had a population of 12,982 at the 2020 census and covers 2,573 square miles (6,660 km2), of which 659 square miles is land and 1,914 square miles (74%) is water — one of the highest water shares of any county in the state — centred near 45°19′N 83°28′W.<\/p>\n

Rogers City is the county seat, and its postal code is 49779. The county has two incorporated cities, two villages, fourteen civil townships, and several unincorporated communities. It sits in the Eastern time zone.<\/p>\n
