Crawford County is a county in Michigan, United States, in the north-central part of the state, within the Northern Lower Peninsula’s Au Sable River country. It had a population of 12,988 at the 2020 census and covers 563 square miles (1,460 km2) of land and water, centred near 44\u00b041\u2032N 84\u00b037\u2032W.<\/p>\n

Grayling is the county seat and the county’s only incorporated city; its postal code is 49738. The county has one city, one charter township, five general-law townships, and a scatter of unincorporated resort communities and former lumber camps. Crawford County observes Eastern time.<\/p>\n
