Barry County is a county in Michigan, United States, roughly halfway between Grand Rapids and Battle Creek in the state’s south-central Lower Peninsula. It had a population of 62,423 at the 2020 census and covers 577 square miles (1,490 km2) — 553 square miles of land and 24 square miles of water — centred near 42°36′N 85°19′W.<\/p>\n

Hastings is the county seat, and its postal code is 49058. The county has one city, four villages, three census-designated places and 16 civil and charter townships. Barry County runs on Eastern Time.<\/p>\n
