Franklin County is a county in Maine, United States, on the Canadian border with Quebec. It had a population of 29,456 at the 2020 census and covers 1,743 square miles (4,510 km2) centred near 44°53′N 70°23′W.<\/p>\n
Farmington is the county seat; its postal code is 04938. The county has 17 incorporated towns and five unorganized territories — East Central Franklin, North Franklin, South Franklin, West Central Franklin, and Wyman — and no incorporated cities.
