One naming point matters here: the city of Boise is not in Boise County. Idaho’s capital sits in neighbouring Ada County; both took their names from the Boise River. Centerville and New Centerville are separate places about a mile apart on Grimes Creek, and Robie Creek, the county’s largest community, is not a town at all — it is a census designated place of commuter homes above Lucky Peak Lake.<\/p>\n
