White County is a county in Georgia, United States, in the northeastern foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It had a population of 28,003 at the 2020 census and covers 242 square miles (630 km2), of which 241 square miles (620 km2) are land, centred near 34\u00b041\u2032N 83\u00b045\u2032W.<\/p>\n

Cleveland is the county seat; its postal code is 30528. The county has two incorporated cities, two census-designated places, and several unincorporated communities. It sits in the Eastern time zone.<\/p>\n

Sautee and Nacoochee were once separate crossroads communities in the Nacoochee Valley; they merged administratively into the single Sautee-Nacoochee CDP and are listed here as one place rather than duplicated. Stovall Mill and Tesnatee sit near Stovall Mill Bridge and Tesnatee Gap on the Richard Russell Scenic Highway, on the northern, mountainous end of the county.<\/p>\n
